Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and EZBUDDY BOOKING TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, a business registered in Malaysia (“we”, “us”), for your use of Residays: the website at tax.liongkj.com, the mobile apps and the connector for AI apps. By creating an account or using Residays, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Not tax advice

Residays counts your days in each country and applies our reading of each country’s published residency rules to them. Results are guidance “under the tested rules”, not tax, legal or immigration advice. Rules change, they have exceptions we may not cover, and the result depends on the trips and answers you enter. Tax residency under a country’s own law, residency under a tax treaty and immigration status are different things. Check important decisions with a qualified adviser and the tax authority concerned. You are responsible for your own tax affairs.

Your account

You must be at least 18. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, because they are how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the trips, answers, emails, screenshots and messages you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Residays to you, as our privacy policy describes. Only send us content you are entitled to share.

AI features

Imports and the assistant use AI. AI can misread a booking or get something wrong, so check what it suggests. Trips read by AI are only saved when you confirm them. If you connect Residays to another AI app, that app’s own terms apply to it, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Free and Premium

Free follows up to 2 countries and keeps 2 calendar years of travel.
Each year of Premium you buy or earn keeps one more year of travel, for good. Premium for life keeps every year. When your years are full, adding travel in a new year waits until you clear a year in Settings or buy another. We never delete travel for being over: only you can clear a year, or delete your account.
Premium is a one-time payment: US$19 for one year, or US$49 for life. Neither renews automatically, and we will never charge you again without you choosing to buy.
“For life” means for as long as Residays is offered. If we ever stop offering it, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice and a way to export your data.
Premium includes allowances, such as imports and assistant use, which refill over time. We describe them in the app and may adjust them to keep the service fair and running.
Prices are shown before you pay and may include taxes where the law requires.
Payments are handled by Stripe. If something went wrong with a purchase, email us within 14 days for a refund. This doesn’t affect any rights you have under consumer law.
Country research rewards (12 months of Premium for the first person to request a country, once its rules are approved and published) are given at our discretion, once per person.

Fair use

Don’t misuse Residays: no attempts to break or overload it, get around limits, access other people’s data, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Residays running and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. We may change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what you paid for, we’ll tell you and offer a fair remedy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including taxes, penalties or interest, arising from your use of Residays or reliance on its results. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Residays and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end these terms or close your account if you seriously break them, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Residays after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
